This is a very good study on The Song of Moses.
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

The day is coming...what are His laws? What is His covenant?
Psa 50:15 “And call upon Me in the day of distress – Let Me rescue you, and you esteem Me.” Psa 50:16 But to the wrong Elohim said, “What right have you to recite My laws, Or take My covenant in your mouth, Psa 50:17 “While you hated instruction And cast My Words behind you?
You can have all the rice and beans in the world stored up, but without close, covenant relationship with Him, it won't help you much.

Occasionally when discussing the law with someone they give me a passage that;I find hard to explain. This verse was given to me in an attempt to show we no longer are to obey the law that it is even bad to try to. What does that part (the red part) mean to you?

Occasionally when discussing the law with someone they give me a passage that;I find hard to explain. This verse was given to me in an attempt to show we no longer are to obey the law that it is even bad to try to. What does that part (the red part) mean to you? Let's look at the immediate context and establish some facts: 1Co 15:54 And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.” 1Co 15:55 “O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?” 1Co 15:56 And the sting of death is the sin, and the power of the sin is the Torah. 1Co 15:57 But thanks to Elohim who gives us the overcoming through our Master יהושע Messiah. There are people who only want to see what they want to see, but that conclusion you mentioned is absolutely contrary to all of Scripture. 1 John 3:4 tells us sin is the transgression of the torah. We have all sinned; the wages of sin is death...the 'curse of the law' held us 'under the law'...the death penalty for sin. We had no hope. Truly we were UNDER the power of sin and the penalty FOR sinning. Messiah bore this curse in our stead and took the penalty upon Himself. He did what we could not do for our self. No longer are we UNDER the law of sin and death, but that in NO WISE EVER does away with how sin is defined. Sin is still sin, and we are to strive AGAINST sin daily. To those who CONTINUE in sin after such a great Sacrifice in our stead, mock what He did for us. Rom 6:1 What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase? Rom 6:2 Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin1 still live in it? Footnote: 1See Rom. 8:13, Col. 3:3, 1 Peter 2:24. What the verse DOES say is that He took the power of the death sentence we were under; not how sin is defined or give anyone excuse for continual sin...or doing away with the torah.
